If there is one thing my girls love it’s accessories. Leaving the house requires bags full of bits and pieces. Umbrellas are also a must. In case it rains. Or it might be sunny.
Needless to say, when a parcel arrived from Stephen Joseph Gifts there was much excitement and a sudden need to go out.
Our pack contained a Turtle Doodle Pad, Monkey Go-Go Purse, Ladybug Wallet and an Own Umbrella. All beautifully made, colourful, cute as a button and lusted after by my Munchies.
Once I broke up the fights and divided the goodies between the two we were in accessory heaven.
Kahlei scored a lovely nylon Ladybug Wallet with easy-to-use Velcro closure which is perfect for little hands. The coin pocket has a zipper to stop any little treasures falling out and is quite exciting, apparently. The downside of said coin pocket? The two and a half year old knows what really belongs in that and isn’t swayed by “Ohh look at this bead/rock/pretty little thing”. As far as she’s concerned, there must be at least one actual coin in there, along with her found treasures. I didn’t think I would get the hand out for money for some time yet!

Kahlei also got an Owl Umbrella. I do not know where my girl’s got their love of Umbrellas but they are both quite obsessed. Thankfully, Ellie already had one so this was an easy choice to make.
As mentioned above, an umbrella is a must have for all weather and all occasions.You can’t even go bike riding without one. Even though it makes for a difficult ride, it’s an essential.
The umbrella is colourful, beautiful and well made. The owls pictures are fun and give the umbrella a uniqueness which suits my girl.
I just love the excitement it brings to my girl when she opens it up and carries it around.
Ellie, as a lover of writing, got a Turtle Doodle Pad which she does ‘research’ and ‘assignments’ in. She carries it around like a little reporter, holding it close to her chest, before stopping and jotting down a thought. I am not allowed to take photos of this all-important activity. At all. But, it’s very cute.
She also got a gorgeous Monkey Go-Go Purse, which was filled with many wonderful and essential nick-knacks practically as soon as I gave it to her. iPod, glasses, wallet, money, torch… I love to sneak a look at the things she deems ‘necessary’. More often than not, her bag is more typical of a woman’s bag than mine!
Ellie does not go anywhere without her bag. Ever.
The bag itself is just perfect for her girlishness with it’s pops of pink and it’s cheeky monkey face. And I love it’s little ears.
Of course, much the same as an umbrella, this purse is a must for bike rides. Obviously.
My girls adore their goodies and I am already perusing the Stephen Joseph Gifts site for upcoming birthdays and special days (hello Christmas). I absolutely think these are perfect gifts for girls.
I have found them to be tough (thank you to my personal wrecker tester, Kahlei), durable, easy to clean as they’re Vinyl and perfect for little girls who love accessories and pretty/fun designs.
